The Nicholas County Health Department is seeking a full-time Sanitarian. Under direct supervision, this position performs entry level duties in the enforcement of environmental and public health sanitation laws. Typical work week is 40 hours a week M-F with occasional weekend hours required. Minimum Qualifications: bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Covid-19 vaccines

Available every Tuesday and Friday from 10a-4pm. No appointment is required. We will have an updated schedule beginning July 1, 2022. Stay tuned.

We do offer infant vaccines from 6 months old and above. The health department has Moderna Covid-19 vaccines for infants 6 month to 5 years and from 18 years and older.

Pfizer vaccines are offered for those 5 years and older. It is important to receive boosters as recommended by the CDC.

We are happy to answer any questions that you may have and we are happy to talk to you about any concerns that you may have in deciding for a vaccine.
